I reconnected with my purpose yesterday at George Floyd Square in Minneapolis.
I paid my respects and formed bonds with the community so we can work towards common goals. So uplifting because collective action starts with individual connections.
It was an emotional visit. It was by chance that Ben Werdmüller was in town and also visited a day before. On Sunday there were services, art, community organizing, and a lot of reflection from many. But also hope, that change is possible, that things can be done in a different way.
I left energized and later spent time near the 3rd Precinct area where there was a community event "Safety not Fear".
Extremely grateful to have this opportunity and the ability to make a difference.
